April fool

I received a parcel that I knew wasn’t because of my – or anyone else’s – online shopping shortly before Easter break. Honestly I was a bit bumped when I found out that this mystery parcel wasn’t a Easter surprise but my new router. However, a router for super fast super fashion internet, a router which I was able to connect and start running by myself. I am still very proud about my new found technical skills. Anyway, somewhere along the wiring and installing my phone connection got lost and I hadn’t been able to solve it. So today I called – quite appalled – the phone company to complain and find out what could be done. After talking for a long with technical services it was suggested to me that maybe, maybe wiring the phone to the router wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Hmmm…  The guy on the phone was having a hard time not to laugh out loud. I made him promise not to tell anyone. He promised. I didn’t believe him. Specially because I knew the whole conversation was being recorded. Before I hang up I told him it all had been an April fool.

And who knows. Maybe this post is an April fool. :)
