We celebrated it with our friends in Sitges. With las uvas, cotillon, cava (lots of it) and Glücksschweine. It was lovely. To 2020!

Two of my happy London places

Flying back to London early Monday for a new week. Very sleepy, but that changes when we commence our descend into London Heathrow and I can see two of my happiest places: the O2 and the Olympic stadium. Home to memories of Guns ‘n Roses, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters and erm, Nashville and Shania Twain.
Both look so small from above but take up so much space in my heart.
Flying back to London

The biggest beauty of flying into Heathrow is the view at night as you fly over London. It’s stunning! Like a miniature toy city sprawling out with its many lights and sights, home to an abundance of histories and destinies.
The other plus about Heathrow is that’s it’s a stone throw from Paddington (not literally) and therefore from Anja’s London home.

After yesterday’s music extravaganza Mami, Tante Astrid and we spent the sunny day in Wannsee. Herrlich!!

Leaving
We spent the day traveling from Schruns via Bludenz to Zurich. Anja managed to get her “Schnapsmeter” through security. No worries, we did not drink all of that. Sitting on the window I have a last view over my Alps. I already miss them.
