Not Pancake Tuesday
Hi, it’s the L-Hasi. I’ve got a new addition to my beautifully organised kitchen. My lovely pink pan. I not only bought it because of the colour but because it has a pancake recipe printed on the bottom. Specially handy for Pancake Tuesday next week. Food and typography. How much better can it get.

Stop wallowing Sunday
I’m not called Delia, but I do have a love of parties – the sign of the perpetual girl-child that I am. I have therefore spent the day reading while nursering a little bit of a booze blues. Good thing I had one hour more to dwell in my little selfmade cave of shame and remorse thanks to changing the clock. Not that it got messy yesterday, but you know, booze is always a depressant. I will have a stern word with myself next time I go out partying. It was fun though. We ended up at a Helloween party in Kreuzberg where we got chatted up by 15 year olds.
New book for my ride home
I find it interesting how the book you are reading sets your state of mind for handling the day. This summer I read a teenage drama romantic trilogy and felt like a lovesick teenager throughout summer. Let’s see what this new book brings me.

Welcome Berlin
Back in Berlin it started snowing. If you look close you can see the snow on the lettering. It is freezing too, good thing I didn’t have to go to work today. Have been hiding at home drinking tea and browsing through the books I got for Christmas: Jojo Moyes, Cecilia Ahern, Michael Bond and the biography of Dorothy Parker.
