Lovely London Sunday
Hi, it’s the L-Hasi. Today is a bank holiday which is great as we get an extra day off work. Knowing that today I could sleep in, I spent all of yesterday with my lovely friends. We went to pergola, a food market on the top of the old bbc bulding. Got some nibbles, sat in the sun and played boules. It was lovely.

Today was a long day and I didn’t leave the office till late. But I was pleased to say that as the days are growing longer, I still managed to get a glimpse of the fiery sunset.

66 on ’66
Hello, it’s the L-Hasi again.
Today I received a lovely surprise in the post, It’s from my good friend and ex colleague Matt Eastley, journalist and author, and it’s a copy of his new book “66 on ’66“.
Matt and Stu Thomas, a fantastic photographer I have been lucky enough to work with, have published a book in celebration of the 50th anniversary of England winning the World Cup – the last time England won anything.
Matt has been tracking down people who were at the final game in Wembley and has written down their story. Coupled with Stu’s amazing photography this makes for a marvellous little look back to that eventful day.
B-Hasi and myself helped a little with tracking down people from Germany who were at the stadium on that day and B-Hasi even interviewed one: the very own Gunter Genuit.
Matt, thank you very much for our own signed copy! It’s wonderful. Well done to you and Stu. Lots to be proud off. This deserves to do well!
Sonntag im Park
Sommertag in Berlin mit wunderbaren 29 Grad und Sonnenschein ohne Ende. Die ganze Stadt tummelt sich am Wasser und in den Parks und ich mittendrin. Bei Weißweinschorle und ordentlich klönen habe ich den Tag im Weinbergspark verbracht. Selbst der Weg dahin durch den Tiergarten war herrlich. Mai in Berlin, du bist wunderbar. Das sind so Tage die mich mit der Stadt wieder versöhnen. An denen ich die kalten, dunklen Wintertage vergesse und mich einfach nur freue hier zu sein.
