A date with our couch and Max Winter
Cuddly nights on the couch
Long days at work. Can’t we just cuddle up on the couch and watch Max Winter? From Düsseldorf? See how excited my Hasi is and how she’s looking straight at the screen. I believe she knows the dialogues by heart. #missyou #loveyou #mallorcafiles #cozy #hausanzug #gemuetlich EDIT: Paul. Paul Müller. Hallo Ihr zwei lieben kleinen Engelkinder,
It is wonderful to see you so happy and together. I wonder where you are at this time so you could be together? I have a picture of your Family attached to the back wall of my computer desk from the place we all vacationed together (though I just can’t remember its name. I think back often to that wonderful vacation with your Family. And this summer you will see Auntie Gi and Auntie Helga!!
I have started a much different life as of November 24 last year. It is at an Assisted Living Community called Collinwood where we get three meals a day (and the food is very good) which is not always the case in comparable places. The staff is super, very huggy, and with great compassion. They offer quite a lot of activities: a movie every night at 6:00, weekly shopping trips to a variety of stores, exercise classes or music and movement, crafts, table games, sign language, and more. We have daily devotions and Sundays Church Service MDR. I don’t know what MDR means. Also I just found out that there is going to be a lunch outing at “Chick fil A” on the 23rd for which we need to sign up. Of course they take us to all of our doctors appointments and nail care (even if we have our own in town) because we have nail care on premise. Yes, we also have a hair salon but you have to sign up for it. I really don’t know how it works as I don’t use it.
It was a steep adjustment for me to live in such a community because we have 100 residents plus all of the staff. To remembers who is who. Then I realized that in contrast to us residents, the staff all are wearing masks. I now feel totally integrated and I like living here. There is much more to relate, however it is time for me to go to bed.
I love you and am sending hugs and kisses. Auntie Christa
