We are ready – wir sind soweit

Ah, after months and months of waiting finally the day has come. I bought the tickets the 5th of September last year. I had put the alarm clock at 7am waiting for the sales to start. And tomorrow, finally, the Die Toten Hosen are playing their only German gig this year. In Leipzig. Planning has been meticulous. Hasi is boarding has just boarded her plane from London to Berlin. I am picking her up with our bottle of Rotkäppchen Sekt and tomorrow we take the bus at 8am to Leipzig. Concert starts at 18:00, doors open at 16:00. Supporting bands are Schmutzki and Kraftklub and the good old Bad Religion. Bad Religion. Come on! 90s are calling. The Hosen start around 21.00. And at 4am we have the bus back to Berlin. Tiring much? Not at all.

I really wish I had my time machine. To tell the people at school that I was going to pilgrimate to see Bad Religion and Die Toten Hosen live.

In Leipzig. Bad Religion!
