Spring Brunch – Frühlingsbrunch

It has become kind of classic for me to organise a Spring Brunch around this time of the year. This time it was on Saturday 21st, we had prepared a lot of food (home made dips, salads, spicy soup, rabbits cookies) and lots of booze like berry sorbet with bubbly, pisco from Peru but also strawberry smoothie. First guests (including the little ones) arrived at noon, last guests left around 3am.

Es wird so langsam Tradition, dass ich um diese Jahreszeit einen Frühlingsbrunch organisere. Diesmal war es am Samstag den 21. März, wir haben so viel Essen vorbereitet: selbstgemachte Dips (Lachscreme, Pesto, Bärlauchquark und Zwiebeldip), Salate, scharfe Suppe, Brötchen, Wraps und herrliche Frühlingscocktails with Himbeer Sorbet mit Sekt oder Rhababersaft mit Sekt und Soda. Lecker. Die ersten Gáste sind Mittags um 12:00 gekommen, dadrunter auch die Winzlinge, und die letzten Gäste sind gegen 3 Uhr morgens gegangen. Ja, wir haben schön gefeiert.

And for everyone to recognise their glass, I bought little butterflies in different colours. Ahhh, le printemps!

Und damit jeder auch sein Gläser wiedererkennen konnte, habe ich kleine bunter Schmetterlinge gekauft, die an die Gläser geklebt wurden. Ach der Frühling…
