WALLONWALL – Opening today at 7pm at the Berlin Wall

Tonight I am going to the WALLONWALL opening. I am very excited about this one. If you happen to be around you should totally check it out! It’s a photo exhibition on the Berlin Wall about walls that separate people worldwide.

WALLONWALL depicts 36 panoramas of the Berlin based photographer Kai Wiedenhöfer who has taken pictures of border and separation walls in Northern Ireland, Korea, Iraq and other countries since 2006. Franz Schulz, the district mayor of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, and Wolfgang Lenk,
a member of the Commission for Culture and Education of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, will both speak at the opening.

WALLONWALL is an open-air-exhibition from 10th of July till 13th of September.

Initiators are Adrienne Goehler (curator) and Kai Wiedenhöfer (photographer).

Heute Abend gehe ich zur Eröffnung der WALLONWALL Ausstellung. Ich freue mich sehr darauf. Falls Ihr in der Gegend seid, solltet Ihr unbedingt vorbeischauen.  Es handelt sich um eine Fotoausstellung auf der Berliner Mauer über Mauern, die Menschen weltweit trennen.

WALLONWALL zeigt 36 Panoramaaufnahmen des Berliner Fotografen Kai Wiedenhöfer, der seit 2006 Grenz- und Separationsmauern unter anderem in Bagdad, Belfast und Korea fotografiert hat. Zur Eröffnung sprechen Franz Schulz, Bezirksbürgermeister von Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg und Wolfgang Lenk, Mitglied des Ausschusses für Kultur und Bildung in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg.
