Dear Joy at the Library – Dear Joy in der Bibliothek

concert at the library

The concert in Islington yesterday was really great, Matt Cardle has an amazing voice and almost made me cry a couple of times. The setting in the church was personal and intimate and people were very touched. It got more fun and lighthearted went we went to the Library across the road, a pub with many happy, cheery people. You could smell the bank holiday in the air. What seemed to be at a first glance the usual band playing at the little stage turned out to be the really great singer Lou Vilstrup and her band Dear Joy. She was joint by different musicians, sometimes on stage, sometimes from a corner in the bar and “Hasi” and me – feeling already very musically – sheered all the gig long. She is preforming again this Monday in Camden, we might be going. You should definitely check her out, she is great!
