misplaced & found again – verlegt und wiedergefunden

Anja & Sonja Linke, verlegtundwiedergefunden 2005.

Once there was a tiny man…

… living in his wife’s trousers pocket. Every day she would take him for a walk. She would take him with her enormous hands, her long and red nails looked like dragon’s claws. The man’s life was reduced to be carried around every day, without ever seeing the sunlight. (pretty much like vampire). The only thing he would see was the face of his wife, which was dominated by a huge mouth with by big, yellow teeth and red painted lips. When she would open her mouth in order to speak her terrible breath would knock our little man almost over. He hardly was able to breath. He lived like this day after day. He did not wish for anything, he did not want to be bigger nor wanted he to have a wife with a nicer mouth. The only thing he ever wanted was to see the sun. Thus one fine day he started ripping a tiny little hole into the pocket. Just big enough for him to squeeze through it. He slipped on his wife’s unshaved leg trying not to hurt himself. That would make some ugly scars. After a long trip he finally arrived totally exhausted at her ankle. With his last powers he jumped and, while gasping for air, let himself fall onto the floor. And his wife, without noticing it or maybe she did, stepped on him with the heel of her huge, red shoe and perforated his tiny body destroying his dream about freedom and sun”.
I have been searching for some texts and found this one. I little short story I wrote a couple of years ago. The layout is made by my sister Anja. We made a little book we gave our dad for Christmas.
